Andrzej Sapkowski is writing another Witcher book, which is expected to feature Geralt of Rivia again. He aims to complete it by the end of 2027, giving fans a possible continuation or prequel to Geralt’s story sooner than anticipated.

The latest book, 2025’s The Witcher: Crossroads of Ravens, explored Geralt’s early career, and Sapkowski has suggested there is still plenty of his life to examine. Polish readers could receive the new book in late 2027 or early 2028, while international publication may follow roughly a year later; Sapkowski is also considering writing more short stories.
