IDW Publishing is releasing "A Quiet Place: Rising Tides" #1, a new comic book series expanding the A Quiet Place franchise, on 18 November 2026. Written by Declan Shalvey with artwork by Luke Sparrow, the limited series brings the invasion story to the Florida Keys during the earliest days of the apocalypse, introducing new characters navigating the franchise's deadly sound-triggered creatures in an entirely different medium.

The story follows Grace, who travels to Florida searching for her estranged father Oscar Hernandez and becomes trapped with him aboard his houseboat as the creatures devastate the region. Though the open water initially provides protection from the creatures, the houseboat proves far from a safe haven—Oscar's oxygen supply is running out, resources are dwindling, and every creak and noise risks drawing the predators' attention. The creative team uses visual techniques to heighten tension, with the artwork showing creatures partially hidden throughout panels, lettering that emphasises fatal sounds, and colour shifts from bright oranges and pinks to bruised blues and purples as the story progresses across four days. An approaching hurricane further threatens their precarious refuge.
