A24’s New Thriller Officially Drops Its First Terrifying Teaser
A24 has released the first official teaser for *Slayground*, a thriller written and directed by Jeremy Saulnier. Set around a haunted attraction, the film follows a scare actor caught in a murder mystery, extending Saulnier’s tense horror work after *Green Room* and *Rebel Ridge*.
Cory Michael Smith plays “Metal Mike” Graves, who wakes to find his co-workers murdered and cannot remember what happened. As a statewide manhunt closes in, he investigates whether he was responsible; the cast also includes Chase Sui Wonders, Sophie Wilde, Imogen Poots, James Badge Dale and Stephen Root. Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross composed the music, and the film opens in cinemas on 29 January 2027.
