Explained simply

ABBA are a Swedish pop group whose best-known songs include “Dancing Queen” and “Mamma Mia”. They became especially popular in Australia after touring there in 1977, a visit that drew large audiences and was later shown in the documentary ABBA: The Movie.

Mamma Mia! The Party is a live entertainment experience built around ABBA’s music and the Greek island setting of the stage musical Mamma Mia!. Guests eat a meal while actors and musicians perform, before the event moves into a disco; it is separate from the musical’s plot and its film adaptations.
