Abhishek Chaubey, Navdeep Singh to Present Shivam Shankar’s ‘Bhed, Bakri, Bhoot’ on Anurag Kashyap-Curated YouTube Channel (EXCLUSIVE)
Indian filmmakers Abhishek Chaubey and Navdeep Singh will present Shivam Shankar’s short film “Bhed, Bakri, Bhoot”, which premieres globally on 24 September via Anurag Kashyap’s curated YouTube channel, Oh Short Flips. The film uses escalating public-restroom graffiti to explore social frustration, everyday politics and how competing opinions can obscure collective responsibility.
Written, directed and co-produced by Shankar, the short has screened at several international festivals and won awards including Best Editing at the Tokyo International Short Film Festival and Best Short Film at IFFSA Toronto. It stars Vandana Joshi, Prasanna Bisht, Apeksha Iyer, Naseem Mughal and Rishi Solanki, and is the third Oh Short Flips release after “Incognito” and “Bobby Beauty Parlour”.
