The gadget stood out as one of Acer's most intriguing showcase items, though Engadget's hands-on suggests it is unlikely to reach shops given the display's impractical size for everyday Windows 11 use and other design shortcomings.

The device features an Xbox-style controller with metallic thumbsticks and a satisfying flip-and-rotate mechanism to switch modes, but reviewers noted its bulk and weight, driven by dual-fan cooling borrowed from Acer's existing gaming handhelds, plus a notable absence of a trackpad for laptop use. Acer kept technical details scarce, only confirming the prototype runs on an already-available GPU while demoing Forza Horizon 5, and only two units were on hand at its stand for attendees to try.
