Acer has unveiled eight new monitors at IFA 2026, headlined by its first 1080p display with a 1,000Hz refresh rate, aimed squarely at competitive gamers. The launch continues Acer's push into high-end display technology, blending OLED panels, Mini LED backlighting and switchable refresh rates across its Predator, Nitro and ProDesigner ranges, giving buyers more flexibility to trade off resolution against speed depending on the task at hand.

The standout is the 24-inch Predator XB253Q U1, which improves on an earlier 1,000Hz model limited to 720p, and adds motion-blur reduction tech, glare-cutting polarising layer, and both AMD FreeSync and Nvidia G-Sync support; it costs $1,099 from the first quarter of 2027. Also notable is the curved 34-inch Nitro XZ340CKR P, offering a 5,120 x 2,160 resolution at up to 360Hz for $1,199 from the fourth quarter of 2026, undercutting a similar earlier model. The remaining six monitors, spanning the Predator, Nitro and ProDesigner lines, range from $299 to $1,299 and roll out between late 2026 and early 2027, with features including Mini LED backlighting, 5K resolution and multiple switchable refresh rates.
