ADRIAN VANDENBERG Says His Upcoming 50th-Anniversary Album Will Be ‘Very Special’
Dutch guitarist Adrian Vandenberg says he is preparing several projects to mark 50 years as a musician in 2027, including a documentary, biography, new album and a major concert in the Netherlands. The celebration will draw on his work across Teaser, Vandenberg, Whitesnake, Vandenberg’s MoonKings and Manic Eden, reflecting the breadth of a career closely associated with hard rock’s most prominent acts.
The exclusive April 2027 concert is expected to feature special guests and could expand beyond the Netherlands if interest warrants it. Vandenberg is also writing an album intended to combine songs in the styles of Whitesnake, Vandenberg, MoonKings and Manic Eden; the anniversary follows his recent “My Whitesnake Years” tour, marking 35 years since Whitesnake’s 1990 Donington appearance and the Slip Of The Tongue era.
