aespa Kicks Off SYNK : COMPLæXITY Tour in Seoul: 6 Best Moments

Billboard · 2 hours ago

aespa launched their fourth world tour, SYNK : COMPLæXITY, with two sold-out shows at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul on 7 and 8 August, drawing a combined 35,000 fans across the group's first concerts at the venue. The tour builds on the K-pop group's expanding narrative universe, blending new material from their recent album LEMONADE with established hits, solo showcases and elaborate staging, marking a milestone nearly six years into their career.

The two-and-a-half-hour show featured 27 songs structured around a five-chapter storyline exploring conflict and resolution with alternate versions of the group. LEMONADE, which reached number nine on the Billboard 200 in June for aespa's third top-ten entry, featured prominently alongside tracks such as "Switchblade" with Ty Dolla $ign, "Bite" and "Can't Help Myself". The production combined cinematic video segments, large-scale choreography and individual member spotlights to expand on the group's long-running digital, sci-fi-inspired aesthetic.
