After a Turbulent Year, BNXN Is ‘Back Outside’ & Taking Charge of His Career: Find His Track-by-Track Guide to New EP

After a turbulent year that included a public split with his management team and time away from music, Nigerian singer BNXN says he is ready to regain momentum and take charge of his career. His six-track EP, *Still in Charge*, pairs collaborations and upbeat Afrobeats with songs that reflect on his past and signal a fresh start.

BNXN says he toured after releasing *Captain*, reshuffled his team and spent time preparing new music before returning in May with producer Sarz on *The Game Needs Us*, which included the song “Back Outside”. The EP features Asake on “Eja Meja”; BNXN describes their collaboration as an organic blend of jazz and Afrobeats. He also recounts making “Online” with producer Telz and says longtime collaborator Steph produced “16”.
