The pair, who became close while filming and promoting the two Wicked films, performed "For Good" and a mash-up of "Get Happy/Happy Days Are Here Again", delighting fans and prompting an emotional Instagram tribute from Erivo the following day.

In her post, London-born Erivo called Grande "my favorite person to sing with" and described the moment as something she would never forget, sharing clips of ecstatic fans and a warm embrace between the two performers. Grande responded in the comments expressing gratitude for the reunion, saying "it'll always come back to this". Grande's O2 residency is set to conclude on 1 September.
