Ahsoka Cast Drops Big Hints About Season 2

The cast of *Ahsoka* has hinted that its second season will give Grand Admiral Thrawn a larger role and bring more familiar *Star Wars Rebels* characters into live action. Their comments suggest the series will build on the first season’s links to *Rebels* and offer viewers more time with characters from the animated show.

At a Los Angeles Comic-Con panel, Rosario Dawson, Natasha Liu Bordizzo and Eman Esfandi discussed the series, which is due on Disney Plus on 20 January 2027. Esfandi mentioned Chopper and other well-loved characters, without naming them all, while Dawson said the new season filmed more outdoors than the first, which relied heavily on the LED-screen stage known as The Volume.
