al coffey Embraces Emotional Complexity On New EP ‘too late’
Al Coffey has released his debut EP, ‘too late’, a four-song collection about regret and unresolved experiences. The queer pop songwriter says the songs reflect understanding something only after the moment has passed, and the EP brings those emotions together without offering easy answers.
Coffey built a following through regular performances at Queer Edge London and has collaborated with French dance duo Ofenbach and producers Adriano Desire and michelangelo.mp3. The EP follows a run of singles and includes the bold opener ‘528Hz’ and the reflective track ‘ghost’; Coffey has also received support from BBC Introducing.
