Alabama Shakes Release First New Album in 11 Years: Stream

Alabama Shakes have released *I Must Be Dreaming*, their first album in 11 years and third full-length record. The release marks the blues-rock trio’s return following a 2024 reunion performance and renews activity after a lengthy gap since their acclaimed 2015 album *Sound & Color*.

The album follows the 2025 singles “Another Life” and “American Dream”, and was recorded in Nashville with producer Shawn Everett. Brittany Howard, Heath Fogg and Zac Cockrell made the record at Sound Emporium Studios and Blackbird Studio, while continuing a tour scheduled to run until the end of September.
