Threatening graffiti found after fire damages Perth home

Daily Mail ·

A fire severely damaged a multi-million-dollar home in Perth’s Mt Pleasant early on Wednesday, and a red-painted threat, “pay your debt dog”, was found on the driveway. Detectives are investigating whether the property was deliberately targeted and whether the graffiti was connected to the fire.

Firefighters were called to Ullapool Road at 3.17am and took about an hour to control the blaze; police said no one was injured. Early inquiries suggest it began at the front door, and the house, which sold for $2.25 million in 2019, is now uninhabitable. Neighbours reported hearing two bangs and said the fire and its aftermath had unsettled the area.
