Prime Video has begun filming its new action-comedy series "Danger Money" in Malta, with Alex Kingston, Iain Glen, Mimi Keene and Arian Nik confirmed to join previously announced star Ray Winstone, alongside supporting cast Kara Tointon, Sean Pertwee and co-creator Oliver Maltman. The casting news underlines the scale of the six-part series, bringing together recognisable names from major franchises including "Doctor Who," "Game of Thrones" and "Sex Education," and signals Prime Video's continued investment in star-led British action-comedy drama.
Winstone plays Razor, a disgraced former SAS operative pulled back into danger decades after a botched 1990s mission, when an old associate (Pertwee) offers him a job that spirals into a conspiracy involving hidden war spoils and corrupt institutions. Kingston plays the enigmatic Roxy, Glen an old friend of Razor's, Keene the mysterious Ana, and Nik his impulsive "nephew" Jamaal, while Tointon and Maltman play Razor's daughter and her partner respectively. The series is written by David Crow and Maltman, directed by Carl Tibbetts and Charles Martin, and produced by Two Brothers Pictures (part of Banijay Entertainment) with All3Media International handling global distribution.
