Alexander Skarsgård on His Wacky ‘Wicker’ Red Carpet Looks: From Clear Shoes and a Multicolored Skirt to a Gray Wig Inspired by Co-Star Olivia Colman

Alexander Skarsgård has worn a series of playful outfits while promoting fantasy romance “Wicker”, drawing attention to the film and his co-star Olivia Colman. His looks included clear shoes, a multicoloured skirt and a grey wig, which he said was inspired by the compliments Colman received for her hair.

At the London premiere, Skarsgård paired clear lace-up shoes with a metallic gold suit; at the Los Angeles premiere, he wore a skirt and a shirt bearing Colman’s face. He said the skirt was light and comfortable, while the wig was a bid for attention. In the film, Colman plays a town outcast who falls for Skarsgård’s wicker-made character; “Wicker” opens in limited release on 23 October and expands on 30 October.
