Daybreak Games has announced that Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 will launch for PlayStation 5 on 25 August 2026. The co-operative sci-fi shooter follows the original game’s xenomorph combat formula, while aiming to address its rougher elements and offer a more ambitious sequel.

The new game expands squads from three players to four and promises revised character classes, alongside deeper weapon and equipment customisation. A short gameplay teaser accompanied the announcement, but further details on the campaign, progression and other improvements have not yet been confirmed.
