Tandem OLED panels layer two OLED elements to boost brightness and longevity compared with standard single-layer OLED screens, but they have so far been expensive to produce, limiting them to flagship monitors. By launching a more affordable tandem OLED option, Alienware is positioning itself to make the technology accessible to buyers who could not previously justify the cost of the category's leading displays.
