The Hollywood Reporter has compiled a ranked list of all 65 films that have grossed more than $1 billion at the worldwide box office, spanning classics such as Jurassic Park and Titanic through to 2026 summer releases including The Odyssey, Toy Story 5 and Spider-Man: Brand New Day. The list, ordered from lowest to highest grossing, reflects a milestone reserved for a small number of films and arrives after a particularly strong 2026 summer box office season.

The compilation notes that US domestic ticket sales reached an estimated $4.76 billion between 1 May and 7 September 2026, driven largely by hits including Universal's The Odyssey, Pixar's Toy Story 5 and Sony's Spider-Man: Brand New Day. The list spans decades and genres, from Harry Potter and Pirates of the Caribbean instalments to animated hits like Despicable Me and Zootopia, and includes films that won Academy Awards as well as some that received Razzies, underlining the broad range of movies that have reached the $1 billion threshold.
