Saturday Night Live UK is launching its second season with a strategically balanced roster of entertainment talent drawn from both Hollywood and Britain's comedy establishment. The show continues its formula of pairing internationally recognizable figures with prominent homegrown comedic voices, designed to deliver broad mainstream appeal whilst maintaining its comedic credibility within the UK market.
The network has now confirmed the season's opening three episodes, with Oscar-nominated actor Jeff Goldblum fronting the premiere alongside musical guest CMAT. Jamie Demetriou will take the helm on 19 September with Royal Blood performing, whilst Amelia Dimoldenberg hosts the following week on 26 September featuring rising artist Rachel Chinouriri. This staggered rollout of British and international guest hosts sets the tone for the remainder of season two.
