The co-op indie title How to Fish has launched on Steam, and players have a full set of 28 achievements to unlock across the game. Most can be completed solo, though the developers note that playing with friends makes several of them easier, particularly those tied to combat and creature-hunting challenges.

The achievements range from simple tasks, such as killing any creature for the first time or upgrading a boat engine, to trickier feats like catching every creature and its shiny variant, becoming a millionaire by selling a rare catch for 100,000 or more, defeating the final boss using only your hands, and finishing the entire game within one hour. Others involve more specific in-game actions, such as waiting for a seagull to grab you before shooting it, killing a creature with dynamite, or completing a boss fight in under ten seconds.
