FC 26's Ultimate Team mode has introduced a new "1 of 3 93+ Prime Heroes or GOTG Player Pick" Squad Building Challenge (SBC), giving players a guaranteed high-rated Icon or Hero card in exchange for fodder. Notably, this marks the first time EA Sports has included Heroes and Icons drawn from recent promotional campaigns in such a pick SBC, making it a significant opportunity for players chasing top-tier cards for their squads.

Completing the SBC rewards players with a choice of one card from three randomly presented options, drawn from a pool of Prime Heroes rated 93 to 96 (including names such as Hazard, Toure and Stam) and Greats of the Game Icons rated 93 to 97 (including Ronaldo, Zidane, Maldini and Henry). The chosen card is added to the player's Ultimate Team squad, while the other two options are discarded; the challenge can be repeated once every three days and requires around 80,000 coins' worth of fodder across its four component tasks.
