The quest is described as one of the trickiest in the wider Picture Pursuit event, as the Motifs are small and easy to overlook amid the Realm's colourful scenery.

The guide explains that players must first speak to Alice, then travel to her Realm via the Dream Castle door or fast travel, and search the forest section (not the Queen of Hearts' castle) for the four Motifs before returning to Alice to claim the reward. Specific locations include one near a cooking station close to the spawn point, another beside a waterfall opposite it, and a third above the ramp leading down to the tree portal, with the guide noting the article was cut off before detailing the fourth.
