Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 reintroduces collectible sprites with an 8-bit visual style for the “Override” update. They provide match bonuses and can be levelled, extracted and reused, making them a progression feature that can affect combat, survival and rewards.

There are currently 11 sprite types, including variants with additional effects, and more may arrive during the season. Sprites can be found in chests or through map-based cheat codes, then extracted using large or portable extractors; extracted sprites yield sprite dust for re-summoning. Chapter 7 Season 3 sprites cannot be used this season, though they remain available in Sprite Garden and as cosmetic customisation options.
