Alt Legends Loathe Return With New Album ‘A Stranger To You’
British alt-metal band Loathe have released their new album 'A Stranger To You', their first full-length record in six years, blending metal and hardcore with more expansive, experimental influences. The release marks a significant return for a band regarded as pivotal figures in the underground scene, showcasing a broadened musical palette that pushes into psychedelic and post-rock territory before culminating in heavier, more crushing passages.
The album features guest appearances from newer hardcore act Static Dress on the track 'Block Of Flats', alongside an unexpected collaboration with New Zealand jazz-soul artist Jordan Rakei on 'The Ladder'. To mark the release, Loathe played a launch show at Liverpool's Olympia venue, before heading to North America to perform at the Lollapalooza and Louder Than Life festivals.
