Nintendo says physical games account for 38.5% of its software sales, contrasting with Sony’s plan to stop releasing new PlayStation 5 games on disc from January 2028. The new Resort revisits Wuhu Island and will include 12 sports; an early preview highlighted archery, bowling, power cruising and thumb wrestling, with upgraded Joy-Con 2 controls intended to make activities feel more distinct.
