Amazon has announced that its Luna cloud gaming service is now available at no extra cost to Prime members on Fire TV devices in the US and UK. The move builds on a "rethink" of Amazon's gaming strategy launched last year, aiming to make games as easy to access as the shows and films already available through Prime Video, since only a fraction of gamers own a console or gaming PC.

A new "Games" tab is being added to the Fire TV interface to improve discoverability, with Amazon's GM of Gaming, Jeff Gattis, saying the goal is to let members "click it and they're in" rather than search elsewhere. Titles available at launch include Hogwarts Legacy, EA Sports FC 26 and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, alongside party games such as Clue, Ticket to Ride and Taboo, with new additions promised monthly. Amazon is also tying games to its film and TV output, including a title linked to Masters of the Universe and an AI party game, Courtroom Chaos: Starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, ahead of the Prime Video release The Man with the Bag.
