Amazon’s short story collections are one of the best reasons to own a Kindle
Amazon’s Kindle short story collections are presented as a compelling reason to keep using the e-reader, despite the author’s preference for physical books. Amazon Original Stories offers themed, genre-focused anthologies featuring established and emerging writers, giving readers quick, varied fiction and a way to discover new authors.
The newest collection, “Magic and Mystery”, contains seven fantasy whodunits, many involving murder, including work by Travis Baldree, Robert Jackson Bennett, Heather Fawcett and Scott Lynch. Earlier collections have covered science fiction and horror, while contributors have included Min Jin Lee, Lauren Beukes, N. K. Jemisin and Jeff VanderMeer; Amazon has also published a six-part Guillermo del Toro and Chuck Hogan story being adapted by Netflix.
