Ambitious Yorkshire strengthen with Arlott signing
Yorkshire have signed England bowler Em Arlott from Warwickshire on a three-year contract, with the 28-year-old joining at the end of the season. The move underlines Yorkshire’s ambition to strengthen their women’s side as the county seeks to challenge at the top level.
Arlott, who is currently playing for Welsh Fire in The Hundred, has made 10 international appearances and took 3-14 against West Indies in a T20 last year. She was selected for England’s ODI squad against New Zealand earlier this summer but missed out after suffering concussion, and has taken 28 wickets for Warwickshire across the past two seasons.
