AMC Global Media’s streaming revenue rose in the second quarter of 2026, but declining US advertising sales and a wider-than-expected loss underscored continuing pressure on its traditional television business. The company said its newly expanded Netflix agreement for the entire Walking Dead universe should provide long-term cash flow, and it raised full-year guidance.

Streaming revenue increased 6% to $180 million for the March-to-May quarter, while US ad sales fell 11% to $109 million. AMC reported revenue of $547 million and an adjusted loss of 28 cents per share, compared with Wall Street expectations of $554.65 million in revenue and a 7-cent loss; it has also stopped routinely reporting subscriber totals after subscribers fell 1% year-on-year to 10.1 million in the previous quarter.

  • Streaming grew, but US advertising revenue declined sharply.
  • AMC’s loss was worse than analysts expected.
  • Netflix’s Walking Dead deal supports higher full-year guidance.
