AMC Theatres CEO Adam Aron Sees Pay Rise to Nearly $15 Million
AMC Theatres chief executive Adam Aron received total compensation of $14.97 million for 2025, nearly 30% more than the previous year, according to a regulatory filing. The increase comes as the cinema chain seeks to benefit from a recovering box office while managing substantial debt and a historically weak share price.
Aron’s package included $1.55 million in salary, $7.38 million in stock awards and $6 million in incentive pay; it remained below his 2022 and 2023 compensation of $23.7 million and $25.4 million. AMC operates 860 cinemas globally, its shares fell about 58% during 2025 but are up 40% year to date, while second-quarter attendance rose 13.5% to more than 71 million guests; CFO Sean Goodman received $4.9 million and operations and marketing chief David Ellis $2.47 million.
