Amplified has promoted former assistants Kris Chesnokova and Christina Wachter to manager, marking the first assistant class at the talent-management company to reach that level. The promotions expand the firm’s representation team and reflect its effort to develop talent internally as entertainment careers increasingly span film, television and creator-led projects.

Chesnokova, who was born in Uzbekistan and moved to the US aged four, previously worked at Riot Games before joining Amplified; she will support emerging and established talent across screen work and independent ventures. Wachter began at IAG in scripted literary and media rights after graduating from the University of Texas at Austin, and represents writers including Andrina Wekontash Smith, Isabel E., May Darmon, Katie Avery and Patrick Emralino. Amplified’s partners praised both managers’ ambition and said they expected them to achieve further success in their new roles.
