Amy Poehler is set to star in Dig, a new 10-episode comedy series arriving on Peacock, reuniting her with former Parks and Recreation executive producer Michael Schur. Dig will premiere as a full 10-episode binge release on 23 November, with Schur serving as executive producer, lead writer and showrunner alongside J.J. Philbin. The cast also includes Hugh Laurie, Geraldine Viswanathan, Antonia Thomas and Fina Strazza, with guest appearances from Kayvan Novak, Jon Pointing and Bonita Friedericy. The series follows a group of archaeologists and college students on a summer dig in Greece, whose discovery of a rare artefact leads them into an unexpected adventure; Peacock has also released the first set of promotional images ahead of the release.
