Amyl and the Sniffers to Headline Golden Hour at Bondi Beach in 2027

Billboard ·

Amyl and the Sniffers will headline Golden Hour at Bondi Beach on 4 March 2027, in what is billed as the Melbourne punk band’s biggest Australian show so far. The event will feature only acts fronted by women, with rapper BARKAA and Western Sydney post-punk band Xiao Xiao joining the line-up.

The Sydney date is part of a four-show Australian homecoming, with concerts in Brisbane on 26 February, Fremantle on 28 February and St Kilda on 7 March. Golden Hour’s sold-out 2026 debut brought major live music back to Bondi for the first time in more than a decade; ticket proceeds from the 2027 shows will go to charities, with the Sydney donation recognising the local response to the Bondi attack. Amyl and the Sniffers’ 2024 album Cartoon Darkness reached No. 2 in Australia and No. 196 on the Billboard 200, and helped earn the band its first Grammy nomination.
