Andrea Gibson: Love Letter From the Afterlife Special Event Set to Embark on 14-Date U.S. Tour
A special multimedia event honouring the late poet Andrea Gibson, titled Love Letter From the Afterlife, is being expanded into a 14-date US tour after a sold-out debut at Colorado's Red Rocks Amphitheatre drew nearly 10,000 attendees over the July 4th weekend. The tour, produced by the team behind the Oscar-nominated documentary Come See Me in the Good Light, combines film, poetry, live music and orchestral performance to commemorate Gibson, who died in July 2025, and will feature her partner, poet Megan Falley, alongside the Goosebump Orchestra and unnamed special guests.
Tickets go on sale on 14 August, with the tour opening at the Fitzgerald Theater in Saint Paul, Minnesota, on 4 November before travelling to Wisconsin, Ohio, Michigan, Toronto, New York, Maine, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Washington DC, Pennsylvania and Illinois. Each stop centres on a screening of the film Love Letter From the Afterlife, directed by Ryan White, which captures Gibson's final performance at Denver's Paramount Theatre in 2024, accompanied live by an original score from Blake Neely performed by a local symphony or the Goosebump Orchestra. The project's extensive list of executive producers includes Tig Notaro, Brandi Carlile, Sara Bareilles, Glennon Doyle and Abby Wambach.
