Andrew Garfield Does Not Recall Waving At Sam Altman On ‘Artificial’ Set: “Very Confused By That”

Andrew Garfield says he does not remember waving to OpenAI chief Sam Altman while filming *Artificial* near Altman’s San Francisco home. Altman had described seeing an actor dressed and walking like him, but Garfield says he never saw Altman or interacted with him.

Garfield told GQ that the crew had been told Altman was not home and that he noticed a security guard at the location. Altman told Vanity Fair he encountered a man with his clothes and backpack, waved, and then realised it was a scene being filmed.
