Former tennis world number one Andy Roddick makes his acting debut in the pickleball comedy ‘The Dink’, playing a version of himself. Star Jake Johnson praised Roddick’s comic performance, saying the production had taken a gamble on an athlete rather than casting an actor to imitate one.

Johnson plays a former tennis professional who joins a pickleball club in an effort to win his father’s respect. Produced by Ben Stiller and directed by Josh Greenbaum, the Apple TV film also stars Ed Harris, Chloe Fineman, Mary Steenburgen, Aaron Chen and Clio King.
