Anne Hathaway is enjoying a standout year, with her legacy sequel The Devil Wears Prada 2 now ranking as the most-watched film on Disney+ worldwide following its streaming debut. The film reunites Hathaway with Meryl Streep, Stanley Tucci and Emily Blunt, and while critical reception was mixed, with some feeling it lacked the original's edge, it has proved a hit with audiences both in cinemas and now on streaming. It marks the second major release of Hathaway's year, coming after A24's Mother Mary earlier in 2026.

The Devil Wears Prada 2 debuted in cinemas in late April before its recent streaming launch. Hathaway also appears in Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey, which is nearing the $1 billion mark at the box office after another $51 million weekend, alongside co-stars including Tom Holland, Zendaya, Matt Damon and Charlize Theron. If it crosses that threshold, The Odyssey will become only Nolan's third film to do so, following The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises.
