‘Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches’ Reveals Season 3 Title & Premiere Date

AMC has announced that the third season of its Mayfair Witches series will premiere on 30 December, with the expanded title Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches: Salem Coven. The announcement at New York Comic Con signals a new chapter for the adaptation of Anne Rice’s novels.

The series stars Alexandra Daddario as Rowan Fielding, a neurosurgeon who discovers she is heir to a dynasty of witches haunted by a sinister spirit. Harry Hamlin plays family patriarch Cortland Mayfair; the season announcement also included a trailer and first-look images, with Rowan reflecting on an ancient prophecy while warning that “nothing is set in stone”.
