Collider has released a first-look image from *Compliance*, a low-budget post-internet horror film starring Lindsey Normington of *Anora*, ahead of its screening at Fantastic Fest. The film is presented as part of a growing trend of horror projects drawing on online culture and contemporary technology, following the reported commercial success of *Backrooms*.

Written, directed, produced and edited by Kyle Mangione-Smith, *Compliance* blends found-footage horror with a political thriller. Its story follows a public-relations representative at a technology start-up attempting to manage a sexual-assault scandal before becoming involved in a violent conspiracy; Megan Wilcox and Charlie Wood also star. Fantastic Fest 2026 will run in Austin, Texas, from 17 to 24 September.
