Musician Anthony Green, known for Circa Survive and L.S. Dunes, has teamed up with Sweet Pill frontwoman Zayna Youssef to release a cover of Porno For Pyros' 1993 hit "Pets." The reimagined version transforms the original alt-rock chart-topper into a swirling psych-pop track that builds to a howling finale, sounding markedly different from Perry Farrell and Stephen Perkins's original recording. Green has said the song holds deep personal significance, having discovered it aged 12 through his older brother before eventually writing his own version of the melody decades later.

Green has already been performing the cover live, including with Youssef during a stop on his current tour, which began in Atlantic City last week. The track is out now as a 7" single via Born Losers, paired with Psychic Babble's remix of Green's song "Reconcile."
