A documentary about golfer Anthony Kim is in development at Propagate Content, directed by Jody McVeigh-Schultz, known for "Cocaine Quarterback." Kim's story is compelling because it chronicles his dramatic fall and unlikely recovery: a golf prodigy whose Achilles injury in 2012 spiralled into a 12-year absence from professional sport, during which he battled addiction and mental illness. Despite receiving a substantial insurance payout, Kim struggled profoundly, but his recent return to competitive golf and tournament victory has made his narrative one of extraordinary resilience.

Kim returned to professional golf in 2024 via a LIV Tour exemption and secured his first pro tournament win in 16 years in February 2026, sparking interest in his comeback story. The documentary will feature Kim telling his story "on his own terms," focusing on his recovery and search for purpose beyond golf. Propagate Content, the production company behind numerous acclaimed documentaries including Netflix's "Untold" series and "Jerry West: The Logo," is handling the project, with executive producers including company founders Ben Silverman and Howard T. Owens.
