Connecticut emo band Anxious have shared a new song, "Don't Move," ahead of their upcoming North American tour with Citizen, Hotline TNT, Rocket and Cryogeyser. The release follows their acclaimed second album, Bambi, released last year, and gives fans a taste of new material as the band continues to build momentum.

Vocalist Grady Allen said the track was inspired by a relationship that defined his early twenties falling apart and the failed attempt to rebuild it, describing a feeling of disengaging from reality while hoping things might change. Musically, the song draws on influences including Jimmy Eat World's Clarity and Australian indie duo Armlock, particularly in its atmospheric bridge featuring layered acoustic guitars. The tour kicks off on 18 August in Chicago and runs through early October, with dates across the US and one stop in Toronto.
