Anxious have released ‘Don’t Move’, their first new music since their 2025 album ‘Bambi’, signalling the start of a new phase for the band. The alternative rock track combines melodic hooks with hardcore and emo elements, and is presented as particularly suited to live performance.

Vocalist Grady Allen said the song reflects on a relationship from his early twenties that collapsed and could not be rebuilt, including attempts to avoid accepting that loss. He began writing it late last summer without a planned album in mind, citing Jimmy Eat World’s ‘Clarity’ and Australian band Armlock as influences; Anxious will tour North America with Citizen from 18 August to 3 October.
