The film, which skipped a traditional cinema run for a straight-to-streaming debut following a low-key marketing campaign, has outlasted numerous newer releases to hold its spot on the platform, underlining its lasting popularity with viewers.

The Gorge, released on Valentine's Day 2025, stars Taylor-Joy alongside Miles Teller and Sigourney Weaver, blending action set pieces with a dystopian setting and a central romance.
