Anya Taylor-Joy’s 128-Minute Sci-Fi Thriller Is Officially One of Apple TV’s Biggest Movies Ever

Apple TV’s sci-fi thriller *The Gorge*, starring Anya Taylor-Joy and Miles Teller, has remained among the service’s top 10 films for more than 300 days in 2026. Its staying power makes it one of Apple TV’s biggest streaming hits and shows how the film has continued to attract viewers well beyond its release.

Released on Valentine’s Day 2025, the 128-minute film also stars Sigourney Weaver and was directed by Scott Derrickson. It follows two operatives guarding opposite sides of a secret gorge who discover a threat and must work together; the film has 62% from critics and 74% from audiences on Rotten Tomatoes.
