Aphex Twin’s 2001 double album ‘Drukqs’ will be reissued on vinyl for its 25th anniversary, giving the influential electronic record its first vinyl re-release since it originally appeared. The announcement reflects the album’s renewed visibility among younger listeners, particularly through the enduring popularity of ‘Avril 14th’ and TikTok-driven interest in ‘QKThr’.

Warp Records will release the 30-track album on 30 October in four-LP, two-CD and double-cassette formats, with a special vinyl edition including a poster and AFX stencil. Initially divisive, ‘Drukqs’ combined intricate drill’n’bass with sparse piano pieces; ‘Avril 14th’ later appeared in films and was sampled by Kanye West, while ‘QKThr’ helped Aphex Twin reach 448 million monthly YouTube listeners in January.
