Apple is reportedly working on a Whoop-like fitness tracker
Apple is reportedly developing a screen-free fitness tracker resembling Whoop’s wearable bands, according to Bloomberg. The device would focus on continuous health monitoring and could strengthen Apple’s position in the fitness-tracking market, although it remains an early-stage prototype and may not be released before 2028.
The reported prototype consists of a thin fabric band and a sensor-equipped computing module. Whoop’s comparable bands offer more than 14 days of battery life, while some models include electrocardiogram capabilities. Apple has already introduced similar features, including continuous heart-rate tracking, a readiness score and an estimated biological age, through the Apple Watch Series 12 and Health app.
