Apple Music adds a feature for recording karaoke videos
Apple is adding Selfie Sing to Apple Music, letting users record themselves singing along to songs with lyrics scrolling on screen. The feature builds on Apple Music’s Sing karaoke function and offers a way to make and share karaoke videos without switching to another app.
Selfie Sing is included in the iOS 27.3 beta and has a dedicated playlist rather than support for Apple Music’s full catalogue. Users can turn on the camera, adjust their vocals with effects such as Echo or Studio, then save or share the video. The update is also expected to include more Siri AI features and a redesigned Health app, with a wider release anticipated in December.
